I loved the beautiful garden and the convenience of having free private parking. The holiday home had everything I needed, from a DVD player to kitchenware. Plus, the towels provided were a nice touch.
Who needs a dishwasher anyway? Hand-washing dishes is so much more fun!

The bathroom was perfect - just one, but who needs more anyways? With a refreshing shower, I felt like a brand new person every morning. It was clean and tidy, giving me a great start to my day. As a low-maintenance guest, it was just what I needed.
I personally would have loved an extra bathroom, but hey, that's just me. Others might appreciate the simplicity and efficiency.

The place felt like home - comfy and super clean. Ronnie and Morag were the coolest hosts, making sure everything was perfect. They even left us yummy local biscuits! The location was amazing, with a bike-friendly area and stunning views of the loch. We had a blast exploring the nearby cycling trails and soaking in the beautiful scenery.
The only thing that could've made our stay even more fun is if there was a mini bar or a cool hangout spot for young party-goers. Going out for drinks in Kirkwall was awesome, but it would've been epic to have a spot to chill and have some fun without having to leave the cottage.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, welcoming us and showing us around the house. the cottage had 3 clean bedrooms, a modern kitchen, and a large garden with seating area. the location was beautiful with friendly neighbors. Biscuits and milk were provided, which was a nice touch. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen to prepare our meals.
Felt completely relaxed, no reason to complain.

The cottage itself was well-equipped, with a modern kitchen and plenty of space for our family. The owners were helpful, keeping us updated on local travel news and offering valuable information about the area. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of welcome gifts upon our arrival. While the lack of internet and poor phone service was a minor inconvenience, it was also a nice change to disconnect and relax. On top of everything, the cottage was conveniently located on a bus route, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas. we had a fantastic stay at Park Cottage and would highly recommend it to others.

Had a great time at this cozy cottage over Christmas! Loved that it was super clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, just a quick drive from the ferry and a short distance from the town. The view of the loch and the sea was beautiful, got to see swans, seals, and lots of birds. The bus stop right outside was handy for exploring and the owners were lovely, even gave us some homegrown rhubarb.
The only downside was the lack of internet and poor phone signal. It would have been nice to have some connection, especially during our stay over the holidays.
